GUNS AND HOSES CHARITY GAME

Colorado Spring Sled Hockey Association

(CSSHA) will be hosting an exciting hockey game

featuring the Colorado Springs Police (Guns) vs.

Firefighters (Hoses) to raise funds for much

needed equipment to expand the program of

CSSHA, including a future program for Wounded

Warriors. 

Our program serves youth and adult ages 7 and

up who are looking for a sport and recreational

activity.

The Sled Ice Hockey game will be taking place at Sertich Ice Rink, August 16th, 2008 at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.  The ice rink is located at the northeast corner of Memorial Park at 1705 East Pikes Peak Avenue.  There will be a $10.00 donation per ticket for general admission seating.  The Police and Firefighters will bravely don their equipment and climb into sleds and compete with each other like they never have before.  The Denver Colorado Sled Hockey will help support both teams in learning this new take on hockey.

Our special thanks to all who took part in this event. We were all very proud and honored to participate in the game. The CSFD team tied the CSPD team 2-2. We anticipated a victory in a shoot-out, but the decision was made to call the game as a tie (lucky for PD). We’ll see you next year!
